My name is Jessica, and I am a Ticket Broker. Kind of. I am a Wife and Mother, and a huge fan of Sports, Concerts, Broadway Shows, Las Vegas Shows, movies, and travel. Turns out - they all require tickets!
About 10 years ago I really wanted to see Michael Jordan play in what was supposed to be his last year. We were living in Charlotte, and my husband decided to suprise me with a pair of tickets for the Bulls - Hornets game.
He paid over $1000 for a pair of $28 tickets. We were high enough, that if I were on the court, you wouldn’t know it was me and not Michael Jordan.
We had an awesome time! And in the process we realized that we needed to learn more about tickets (mostly as a defensive measure.) We did a ton of research, modified our techniques, learned form real Brokers, and eventually perfected a process that allowed us to go to almost any event we wanted, at face value or lower. We were fans. We are still fans!
Over time we transitioned from buying tickets for us - to buying them for friends and family. And eventually turned it into a large so called business - run completely in our free time from a spare bedroom.
Our family calls it a business, but we still think of it at a bad habit. A bad, very expensive habit. Don’t get us wrong, we buy tickets and resell them for profit. But we also donate tickets to charity. And we sell close to 50% of our tickets at face value or lower. We let people know how to get the seats they want for less money - even from another source. We offer free advice to anyone who will listen - just ask and we’ll let you know our thoughts. And almost once a month, we pass on the opportuniy to make a huge profit by actually using our tickets!
The goal of this site is not to sell tickets. Just one fan helping other fans!
All of our content is based on real fan questions. Email us your question and we’ll do our best to answer it in the near future.
Jessica
PS…we have been receiving a ton of emails from Fans and Ticket Brokers. Most of it is extremely positive.
